A premium collar begins with a measured fit. Old collars can stretch, compress or sit in a different position, so the clearest starting point is the dog’s neck.
Three simple steps
- Use a soft measuring tape at the position where the new collar will sit.
- Keep it comfortably close without pulling tight.
- Record the measurement in centimetres and compare it with the Richmond Hound size ranges.
Richmond Hound’s launch system runs from XS (20–27 cm) to XXL (57–67 cm). Breed examples are secondary only; individual dogs can vary considerably.
